Educational Zoom Session – Seamless Acceptance

The Greater OK Postal Customer Council (GO-PCC), the Tulsa Postal Customer Council (TPCC), and the U.S. Postal Service will be offering an educational ZOOM session on Thursday, April 22, 2021 starting at 9:00am.

The USPS is broadening the reach of the Seamless Acceptance verification process, starting May 1st for Detached Mail Units and July 1st for all mailers taking advantage of the Full Service discount program. Seamless Acceptance reviews electronic documentation and the Intelligent Mail barcodes on containers, handling units, and mailpieces, by collecting data from Mail Processing Equipment (MPE) and samples from hand-held scanning devices, and matching that to the mailer uploaded eDoc to confirm proper mail preparation for the discounts claimed and postage paid.

Effective July 1st, 2021 the U. S. Postal Service will transition into the 6th and final phase of the Seamless Acceptance process. ARE YOU READY? Our topic will be Seamless Acceptance, the Mailer Scorecard, and You; the keynote speaker will be Leonard Bishop, Oklahoma District Manager Business Mai Entry. Mr. Bishop’s presentation will cover Seamless Acceptance, reviewing your Mailer Scorecard, possible financial impacts, and how to avoid errors.
